Meet the Clinical Team

Grace is a Lead Technician Assistant who is a part of both our outpatient and surgical nursing teams. She is from McCordsville, Indiana, but currently lives in Little Flower, Indianapolis. Grace graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at Harrison College and is currently studying through the Purdue University Veterinary Nursing Distance Learning program and plans to graduate in the fall of 2024. Grace has been working at Fall Creek Veterinary Medical Center since 2015, starting in the kennel before transitioning to the nursing staff. She loves the family atmosphere, client and patient relationships, team bonding, and opportunities to learn and improve her skills. Grace has a black cat named Dexter. In her free time, she enjoys thrifting and antique shopping, camping, kayaking, and hiking. Grace also recently got engaged and plans to get married by the end of 2024.

Shelby is one of our Lead Technician Assistants and is from Middletown, Indiana. She studied through the International Business College Veterinary Technician Program. Her favorite part of her job is being able to watch patients grow up and help care for them along the way. She has a border collie pitbull mix named Norman and a weimaraner named Addie. Outside of work she loves camping, boating, being outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family.

Katie is one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians and a Nursing Staff Lead. Her hometown is Rawlins, Wyoming, but she now lives on the eastside of Indianapolis. Katie has an Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. Her favorite parts about Fall Creek Veterinary Medical Center are the family atmosphere, the dedicated staff, and the never ending opportunities for growth in the field. Katie has a beagle mix named Ace, and four cats: Dahlia, Jedi, Riley, and Lucy. In her time away from the clinic, she enjoys hiking, swimming, reading, longboarding, and traveling.

Simanney is a Registered Veterinary Technician from Lapel, Indiana. She has an associate degree in applied science in Veterinary Technology from the International Business College Vet Tech Institute. Simanney has previous experience in surgery, ER/triage, research, and oncology. At Fall Creek Veterinary Medical Center, she enjoys expanding her knowledge in veterinary medicine, building relationships with patients and clients, and the family atmosphere amongst the staff. Simanney currently lives with her son, Barrett, and pitbull, Boone. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son and family, playing slow pitch softball, kayaking, and camping.

Lindsey is a Registered Veterinary Technician who graduated from the International Business College Veterinary Technician Institute with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree. Lindsey is married and has a son. Outside of work, she enjoys fishing, gardening, and riding bikes with her family. She has a bulldog mix named Sherman and a dwarf rabbit named Pete.

Ashley is a Technician Assistant from Fishers, Indiana. She began working in our kennel in 2018 while studying Biology and Animal Science at Purdue University. After graduating in 2021, Ashley joined our outpatient nursing staff full-time. She really enjoys the relationships she has formed with our patients and clients. Her favorite part of Fall Creek Veterinary Medical Center is planning and hosting puppy parties, fundraisers, and other events for the clinic. She also enjoys running our social media accounts and being able to share fun and educational content with our clients. Ashley has a rescue staffie/pitbull mix named Bean who is about 8 years old. In her free time, she enjoys going to concerts, creating art, and spending time with friends/family.

Tahni is a Technician Assistant from Indianapolis, Indiana. She has a shiba inu named Pepsi and three domestic shorthair cats named Valkyrie, Kukri, and Toffee. In her free time, Tahni enjoys reading, drawing, and training animals.

Emma is from New Palestine, Indiana, and is one of our Veterinary Assistants who assists with inventory. She grew up with a mélange of pets including dogs, cats, frogs, and turtles. She loves being able to see all of the adorable patients of Fall Creek Veterinary Medical Center and being able to be a part of their care. She has three cats named Boots, Dumpling, and Malley, and a chocolate lab named Junie B. Jones. In her free time she loves spending time with her family.

Hannah is one of our Veterinary Assistants from Cumberland, Indiana, who graduated from the International Business College. She absolutely loves kittens and enjoys meeting our kitten patients at their first appointments. Hannah has five cats of her own: Fredward the orange tabby, Leo the brown tabby, Khaleesi the Maine coon, Lizzy the domestic longhair, and Jane the domestic shorthair. Outside of work, Hannah’s hobbies include running, crocheting, and spending time with her friends, family, and boyfriend.

Kara is one of our Veterinary Assistants who is from Monrovia, IN and currently lives in Indianapolis. She is currently studying at Penn Foster and loves that Fall Creek Veterinary Medical Center gives her the opportunity to continue to expand her knowledge while helping animals. Her pets include a basset hound named Beaver, and three cats: Goose, Bunny, and Bentley. In her time away from work she loves to go fishing with her dog.
